Striped Hoodie
Lion Brand® Cupcake®
GAUGE: 18 sts + 40 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter st (k every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: Sweater is worked in one piece to armholes, then divided for fronts and back.

| yarn is really hard to work with. I am making a size 4 for my daughter. and made it 7.5 inches long instead of 6 before diving for arm holes. knit the first front panel and it was still too short for my daughter so I ripped it out and knitted 10 inches before dividing for the arm holes
