Dish Cloth
Lion Brand® Lion® Cotton
GAUGE: 16 stitches and 18 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter stitch (knit every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: Materials are sufficient to make several Dish Cloths.
|
COLOR SEQUENCE
Knit 6 rows with A, 2 rows with B, 10 rows with C, 2 rows with D, 4 rows with E. Repeat these 24 rows for Color Sequence.
DISH CLOTH
With A, cast on 38 stitches. Work in Color Sequence, knitting every row, until piece measures 10 in. (25.5 cm) from beginning. Bind off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends.

| This is the first pattern I have every used that has color changes in it. I was amazed at how easy it was to follow and how pretty these dishclothes look finished. They will make great Christmas gifts.
