16 sts + 24 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS).
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. Left Neck

FINISHING

Neckband Transfer sts for back neck from st holder to needle and join yarn. Work across back neck in pattern. Pick up and k 10 (11, 11, 12, 13, 16) sts down left front neck. Transfer sts for front neck from st holder to needle and work across in pattern. Pick up and k 11 (12, 12, 13, 14, 17) sts up right front neck - 61 (63, 67, 71, 77, 83) sts. Work 7 rows in pattern. To keep correct tension, skip Rows 7 and 8 of Cable Pattern on back neck. Sew right shoulder and neck seam. Sew side seams. Weave in ends.
