Knit Coastal Stripe Pullover
Lion Brand® Wool-Ease®
GAUGE:
20 sts + 24 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Knit Coastal Stripe Pullover Reviewed by McKenna Olhasque on 2011-05-24
I'm giving this one four stars as the schematics are not proportional and would be confusing to a beginning knitter - the front and back should be oblong, not square.
Personally, I think it's a great pattern, and as long as the right gauge is obtained should serve as a canvas for myriad variations. As another reviewer commented, I think I'll probably add an inch to the front and back for balance. Should be a quick weekend project for the intermediate to advanced knitter.
