Crochet Kitten

Lion Brand® Wool-Ease®

GAUGE:

14 sc + 17 rows = 4 in. (10 cm). When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Making a Gauge Swatch

STITCH EXPLANATION:

sc2tog (sc decrease) Insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook.

Crochet Kitten Reviewed by Denise Newsome on 2009-03-19 ****
My daughter loved the blanket and the kitten and puppy. I thought the legs at the top looked a little out of proportion with the rest of the body. They seemed a little too long. Overall, I was pleased with how it turned out and how much my daughter loved it.
