Multi-Hued Afghan
Lion Brand® Jiffy®
GAUGE: 8 sts + 10 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS) with 2 strands held together. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: Afghan is worked with 2 strands of yarn held tog throughout.

Got KADD (Knitter’s Attention Deficit Disorder)? Then this is the project for you!!
This project is simply the best type of project for self-diagnosed KADDs like me. The project knits quickly because of the large needles. That's key for ADD Knitters. Second, the project is worked in panels, again, helping to progress quickly and creating a sense of accomplishment. The panels also make this a very portable project so you can work it on while traveling in a car, plane, etc. Third, the color changes help to maintain your interest. The colors are constantly changing. You become excited and anticipate the changing of colors, eager to see what the mix will look like. You will love this project!!
The only suggestions I have are as follows: The picture can be somewhat deceiving. The model in the picture is either -00 or the afghan pictured, is actually bigger. It’s small and I’d like to have seen it a bit longer and a bit wider. I am going to add another panel to the one I created. There is so much yarn left and it could really use an extra panel. Unless you are making a baby blanket, I’d say go wider and longer. In either case, this is a great project and I’m so glad I did it!!! Have fun!
