New Wave Throw
Lion Brand® Homespun®
GAUGE: 10 sts = 4 in. [10 cm] in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: To change color, work last stitch until there are 2 loops on hook, yarn over with new color to complete stitch.

| I like this one because it doesn't allow for large holes between stitches (it's tight) and you can do a LOT with variations on coloring. I increased the cast on to 124, and used a larger needle to make a version of this for my brother who wanted a blanket that would cover him completely. He's over six foot, so I also had to double the yarn amount. I'll be making lots of these!
