Pill Box Hat
Lion Brand® Sasha
GAUGE: 6 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter st (k1 rnd, p1 rnd). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

HAT
With double-pointed needles, cast on 8 sts. Distribute sts evenly on 4 double-pointed needles.
Place marker for beginning of rnd. Join, being careful not to twist stitches.
Rnd 1: Purl.
Rnd 2: Knit, inc 1 st in each st around – 16 sts.
Rnd 3: Purl.
Rnd 4: (Inc 1 st in next st, k1) around – 24 sts.
Rnd 5: Purl.
Rnd 6: (Inc 1 st in next st, k2) around – 32 sts. Change to circular needle.
Rnds 7 and 8: Purl.
Rnd 9: Knit.
Rnd 10: Purl.
Repeat last 2 rnds 5 more times. Bind off loosely.
FINISHING
