Split Collar
Lion Brand® Wool-Ease® Thick & Quick®
GAUGE: 9 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter st (k every row) with larger needles. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| The pattern is very easy. I like that it works up quick and is a very warm, unique scarf. I agree with the other reviewer who couldn't get it over her head. My first attempt ended the same way. I discovered you must bind off using a tubular cast off. This is very stretchy. With this pattern you will want to bind off very loosely. If you pull the stitches tight you will not achieve the proper stretch. I think the pattern should have included a proper cast off in its instructions. That would alleviate a lot of frustration from those who spent the time making it only to discover they couldn't wear it.
