GAUGE: 18 sts + 24 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS) with larger needles and 1 strand each of A and B held tog. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. | Summer Cardigan and Scarf Reviewed by Diane Harris on 2008-11-11 |
    |
| I loved this look and was so disappointed that the Lion Brand yarn was discontinued. I was finally able to find some thick brown and rust cotton threads from "Colourmart" (online). I found the sizing of this pattern a little larger than I needed; I am a 12-14 and used the "large" size and it is a little too big, the sleeves are way too long. But I cuffed them and everything else is okay. I'm happy with the final product.
