GAUGE:
9 single crochet = 4 in. [10 cm] BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. HAT
With A, chain 2. Round 1: Work 6 single crochet in 2nd chain from hook, place marker for beginning of round – 6
stitches. Round 2: (Single crochet in next stitch, 2 single crochet in next stitch) 3 times – 9
stitches. Round 3: (Single crochet in each of next 2 stitches, 2 single crochet in next stitch) 3 times

Chain 1, turn. Front Flap
With C, single crochet across front of Hat to 2nd earflap. Chain 1, turn. Repeat last row 9 times. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Sew corners of front flap to Hat. Ties
Cut 2 strands of B, each 12 in. [30.5 cm] long. Fold 1 strand in half. Use crochet hook to draw
fold through edge of earflap, forming a loop. Pull ends of strand through this loop. Knot ends of
strand together.
Repeat for 2nd earflap. Weave in ends.

I used the LARGEST dimensions for the hat (and I have a tiny head) and it wasn't even close to fitting me. Its very irritating to use up ALL that yarn and time and the hat is way to small
