Rose Necklace

Lion Brand® Lion® Cashmere Blend - Ruffles®

GAUGE:

Exact gauge is not essential to this project.

ROSE (make 12; 6 each with E and F)
Foundation Ch:
Working along one edge of Ruffles, insert hook from front to back to front to form a loop on hook; *skip about 1 in. (2.5 cm) of Ruffles, and insert hook from front to back to front again to form a second loop on hook; draw loop just made through first loop on hook (1 ch made); rep from * 9 more times; join last ch made to first ch with sl st to make a ring.
Rnd 1: *Ch 5, sl st in next ch of ring; rep from * 9 more times. Fasten off.

ROSE CENTER (make 12; 2 each with C and D, 4 each with A and B)
Ch 15.
Rnd 1: Tr in 5th ch from hook, 2 tr in next 2 ch, 2 dc in next 3 ch, 2 hdc in next 3 ch, 2 sc in last 2 ch; turn to work in free loops along opposite side of foundation ch, ch 1, sk next ch, sl st in next 2 ch, insert hook into skipped ch and next ch of foundation ch, yarn over draw through both chs (sl st together completed), sl st in next 6 ch. Fasten off. Cut yarn leaving a long end for sewing. Roll Rose Center into a spiral and sew together at base.
Pairing Centers with Roses as desired, sew one Center into each Rose.

NECKLACE
Working in sl sts on wrong sides of Roses, join D and with sl st in any sl st of first Rose, ch 25, sl st in sl st opposite joining sl st, *ch 12, join with sl st in any sl st of next Rose; rep from * until all Roses have been joined. Sc in each sl st of last Rose, *ch 14, sl st in sl st opposite joining sl st of next Rose; rep from * to first Rose; sc in each sl st of first Rose; join with sl st in first sl st.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.

I can typically do intermediate level patterns but this one was so poorly written that I had to take it to my local yarn shop and they couldn't figure it out either!!! This was a waste of my time and yarn!
