Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick

GAUGE:

6ฝ hdc = 4 in. (10 cm); 5 rows = 3 in. (7.5 cm) in hdc with crochet hook.
7 sts + 10ฝ rows = 3 in. (7.5 cm) in Stockinette st (k on RS, p on WS) with knitting needles. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Retro Swing worth the effort Reviewed by angela on 2010-01-17 ****
I see this jacket as a template in many ways that can be used in a variety of ways. I exaggerated the collar and added a lace trim to elongate it. It is really cute and I love the swingy look, I may make it again in black, I do not like the stitch decrease method of skipping over the second stitch, No, it leaves a gap, better to stitch two together as one, or some other way, thats my only grief with it. Add a shawl pin for extra cute touch
