GAUGE:
15 sts + 32 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter st (knit every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Wee Pocketed Cardigan Reviewed by Joan Alexander on 2009-12-10
This sweater was truly easy to make. First time for me making pockets and picking up stitches to make a neckband and the borders down the front panels. I thought the buttons were fine where the pattern said to place and had no trouble fitting on the sleeves without indenting as someone suggested.
