Ruffled Scarf and Wristers

Lion Brand® Lion® Cashmere Blend - Ruffles®

GAUGE:

13½ sts = 4 in. [10 cm] in Seed st with A. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

RUFFLE ROW: Instructions for this special technique can be found at www.lionbrand.com

NOTES:

This great scarf and wrist warmer set get their unique look from Ruffles yarn. Knitting with Ruffles requires a special, yet simple, technique. The loops are formed by inserting the needle into this tape-fabric yarn. Please click here for detailed photographs and written instructions on working with ruffles. Or click here for a short instructional video and audio description about working with Ruffles.
