| Romantic Speed Hook Shawl Reviewed by Heather Buckholtz on 2010-01-24 |

| Not a glamorous shawl by any means, but still very very nice. I used a Q-15 hook instead of a Speed hook, and even that was tough to handle. If you've never used a chunky hook before, it can give you some problems at first, but after a few rows it's pretty easy. In lieu of the discontinued yarn I took the advice of another reviewer and used something akin to Wool-Ease Thick'N'Quick. The weave is a little tighter and total it takes about 15 ounces. Extremely easy to work up and warmer than you'd think.
