Speed Hook Hooded Scarf

GAUGE: Exact gauge is not essential to this project.
NOTES: 6 single crochet + 8 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] with 1 strand each of A, B and C held together. Due to the nature of the fabric when working with the Speed Hood, gauge may vary throughout. Exact gauge is not necessary for this project.

SCARF
With 1 strand each of A, B and C held
together, chain 71.
Row 1: Single crochet in 2nd
chain from hook and in each chain across
– 70 single crochet.
Row 2: Chain 1, turn, single
crochet in each stitch across.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 9
in. [23 cm]. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Fold piece in half crosswise. Sew 6
in. [15 cm] down from fold along one
long edge to create hood. Weave in ends. |

Hi! I am quite pleased with this simple easy scarf. I am using a bulk yarn with another color Medium weight yarn. I am having a tough time pulling the loops thru but will get it done! This scarf is for my Nephew whose in his senior year of Pre Med-I am using his school colors for the Hooded Scarf and am sure he will like it.
I changed the width and lenght to an adult size, its that simple...just add rows and chains.
