Speed Hook Baby Blanket
Lion Brand® Cotton-Ease®
GAUGE: 6 single crochet = 4 in. [10 cm], 6 rows = 3½ in. [9 cm] with 1 strand each of A, B and C held together. Due to the nature of the fabric when working with a Speed Hook, gauge may vary throughout. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| Speed Hook Baby Blanket Reviewed by Jennifer Foleen on 2013-04-03 |

| I used a size Q hook and that worked out fine for the pattern's gauge. This blanket does turn out to feel pretty heavy so I just hope it's not too warm for a baby. Cotton Ease feels nice and isn't fuzzy which should keep it from getting caught on a lot of things, but it is pretty common to find multiple splices per ball.
