Lion Brand® Lion® Bouclé - Trellis®
GAUGE: 10 sts = 4 in. [10 cm] in Garter stitch (knit every row) with 1 strand each of A and B held together. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

NECKWARMER
With 1 strand each of A and B held together, cast on 26 sts. Work in Garter stitch (knit every
row) until piece measures 28 in. [71 cm] from beginning. Bind off.
FINISHING
Sew short ends together for 5 in. [12.5 cm], leaving remaining 5½ in. [14 cm] open. Weave in
ends. |

| Although this is a fairly easy pattern, it yields a very beautiful piece. Any bulky-weight mohair, solid-colored yarn along with Trellis or other novelty yarn will result in a nice piece as well. I used another brand of yarn in a solid, off-white along with the recommended Lion Brand Trellis yarn in Champagne. I highly recommend this pattern to anyone who needs an accessory which will compliment any top. This is a very nice pattern to work even for a long-time knitter like myself.
