Speed Demon Scarf

GAUGE: Exact gauge is not essential to this project.
STITCH EXPLANATION: |
SCARF
Cast on 15 stitches. Work in Garter stitch (knit every row). Join new balls of yarn at the
beginning of a row. Loosely tie a knot with the new yarn around the old yarn, leaving a tail of at
least 4 in. [10 cm]. Slide the knot up the tail of the old yarn as close as possible to the work.
When there is about 24 in. [61 cm] of the last ball remaining, bind off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends. |
NOTES:
GAUGE
15 stitches = 10 in. [25.5 cm] in Garter stitch (knit every row). Due to the nature of the
fabric when working with Speed Stix, gauge may vary throughout the knitting and is not crucial to
this project.

| I used size 15 needles and it knitted up quickly and very nice! I purled and knitted the scarf and connected it the two ends to make one of those 'infinity' scarves that are so popular now. it took 4 balls and I cast on 18 stitches.
