GAUGE: 12 dc + 10 rows = 5 in. [12.5 cm]. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| I was so excited to make this pattern but found like most of the other reviewers that the pattern is very difficult to follow. I too am an experienced crocheter and just could not figure out how to make this work. After many wasted hours of work I finally gave up and unraveled the entire thing. I love the Lion Brand yarns and patterns but shame on you LB for this pattern. It is awful!
