GAUGE:

10 sc + 10 rows = 4 in. [10 cm]. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

NOTES:

When changing colors, work last stitch of previous row to the point where there are 2 loops on hook, yarn over with new color to complete stitch.

PILLOW
With B, ch 81.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across – 80 sc.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across.
Continuing with B, work last row 4 more times.
Change to C and work 1 row.
Change to E and work 1 row.
Change to D and work 2 rows.
Change to B and work 6 rows.
Change to A and work 1 row.
Change to E and work 1 row.
Change to D and work 4 rows.
Repeat entire color sequence (6 rows of B, 1 row of C, 1 row of E, 2 rows of D, 6 rows of B, 1 row of A, 1 row of E, 4 rows of D) 1 more time. Fasten off.

From right side, sew first and last row together. Sew 1 side seam. Insert pillow form. Sew remaining side seam.
