Rnd 1: 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 24 ch, 3 sc in last ch, working along opposite
side of beg ch, sc in next 24 ch, sc in next ch, sl st in beg sc to join -- 54 sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, sl st in beg sc to join.
Rnd 3: Sc2tog, sc in next 25 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 25 sc, do not join -- 52 sc.
Rnds 4-13 are worked around in a spiral without joining. Place marker for beg of rnd and move marker
as each round is completed.
Rnd 4: Sc in next 24 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 24 sc, sc2tog -- 50 sc.
Rnd 5, 7, 9, 11, and 13: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 6: Sc in next 23 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 23 sc, sc2tog -- 48 sc.
Rnd 8: Sc in next 22 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 22 sc, sc2tog -- 46 sc.
Rnd 10: Sc in next 21 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 21 sc, sc2tog -- 44 sc.
Rnd 12: Sc in next 20 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 20 sc, sc2tog -- 42 sc.
Rnd 14: Sc in next 19 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 19 sc, sc2tog, sl st in beg sc to join -- 40 sc.
Fasten off. Join 2 strands of A held together in 21st sc (opposite beg sc).
Rnd 15: Ch 1, sc2tog, sc in next 18 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 18 sc, sl st in beg sc2tog to join
-- 38 sc. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Handles (make 2)
With smaller hook and 1 strand of A, ch 1, draw up a loop around one Handle, yarn over and draw
through both loops on hook - sc made. Continue to sc around Handle to cover completely, sl st to
first sc to join. Fasten off. Repeat on second Handle. Center a Handle on each side of Bag, with
about 2/3 of Handle extending above top edge of Bag. Sew Handles to inside of Bag. Weave in ends.
