Need for Tweed Bag

Lion Brand« Chenille Thick & Quick®

GAUGE:

7 sc + 8 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] with larger hook and 1 strand of A and 1 strand of B held together. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Need for Tweed Bag Reviewed by e j on 2011-09-04 *****
FABULOUS RESULTS! I followed this pattern with chenille in black and silver -very chic!
Quick project, clear, easy instructions. Could easily adapt the pattern to various sizes and yarns, but why, when the chenille is so luxe? Finished bag is tight, sturdy and a generous size -should hold up to a night out on the town. My only complaint is that I'm out of chenille and can't rush into making another one! TRY IT!
