GAUGE:
2½ clusters of Row 1 = 5 in. [12.5 cm] with 1 strand A, B, or C. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

I have made three of these afgans and they all have gotten rave reviews. Very easy to make. Of course, I changed the yarn to Vanna's choice and use three strands held together. I made one with blues and greens and it looked like sea shells.
