GAUGE:

2½ clusters of Row 1 = 5 in. [12.5 cm] with 1 strand A, B, or C. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Spicy Delights Afghan Reviewed by Joan on 2009-05-08 *****
I have made three of these afgans and they all have gotten rave reviews. Very easy to make. Of course, I changed the yarn to Vanna's choice and use three strands held together. I made one with blues and greens and it looked like sea shells.
