GAUGE:

Motif A = 7½ in. [19 cm] When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Sew 3 Motif A squares together to make a strip. Make 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 3) strips. Sew the strips together along the long edges to make a center piece. For smaller three sizes the center piece is rectangular, with shorter top and lower edges. For larger three sizes the center piece is square. Floral Fantasy Pullover Reviewed by amalie davidson on 2014-05-20 ****
This is quick to make up and it is easy to avoid all of the suggested sewing with carefully placed slip stitch joins. I made this with an Alpaca/wool blend that is very similar in texture to the yarn pictured. I think the pattern runs a little large, especially the sleeve length - I have long arms for my size and these are still way too long. Consider making the arm squares with a smaller hook.

I like the sweater but it keeps growing...probably a factor of the yarn since not a synthetic. The alpaca makes it very warm, even with the open pattern.
