Tropical Treat Blanket
Lion Brand® Babysoft® - Microspun
GAUGE: 14 stitches + 24 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in Garter stitch (knit every row) with 1 strand of A and 1 strand of C held together. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: |
STRIPE PATTERN
Work 4 rows with 1 strand of A and 1 strand of D.
Work 2 rows with 1 strand of A and 1 strand of C.
Work 4 rows with 1 strand of B and 1 strand of D.
Work 2 rows with 1 strand of B and 1 strand of C. |

BLANKET
With 1 strand of A and 1 strand of D held together, cast on 105 stitches. Work in Garter stitch
(knit every row) in Stripe Pattern until piece measures 34 in. [86.5 cm] from beginning. Bind off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends. |

| I loved the colour scheme of this blanket.. I knitted one for my boss's grandchild.. I change a few things.. made it longer 48 inches and since the green and orange were not paired together, I knitted 2 strips of 10 rows of green/orange.. everyone loved it!!
