Baby's First Cardigan
Lion Brand® Jiffy®
GAUGE: 13 stitches across and 28 rows down = 4 in. [10 cm] in garter stitch (knit every stitch on every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

I've only been knitting a couple of months so I am a total novice.
This was easy to knit. I found the finished project a touch big. I think if I did another, I would make the body a touch shorter. I think a button rather than ribbon would be better too.
