Knit Shrug
Lion Brand® Homespun®
GAUGE: 12 sts + 18 rows = 4” [10 cm] in Seed st with larger needles. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: Seed Stitch

Row 2 (WS) Purl the knit sts and knit the purl sts.

| Knit Shrug Reviewed by Diane Meier on 2008-11-18 |

| I loved this pattern. I'm an intermediate knitter and I found this pattern well written, easy to follow. I wasn't fond of all of the picking up of stitches around the opening, but once I got past that point, it was all pleasurable to knit. I used another suitable yarn that I already had on hand, but plan to make another shrug for a Christmas present using the Homespun.
