Frill-Seeker Scarf

Lion Brand® Lion® Cashmere Blend - Ruffles®

GAUGE:

16 sts + 24 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in St st (k on RS, p on WS) with A. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Frill-Seeker Scarf Reviewed by l on 2011-01-18 ****
The scarf came out quite well for me. almost like in the picture. Although I didn't use the cashmere yarn, but a ball of mohair yarn that I already had. The mohair is a bit thicker so the ruffles are closer together, but otherwise I'm happy with it. The only problem I had is when I started I didn't know you have to knit AND purl with the ruffle yarn so the ruffles will all be on the knit side of the scarf.
