Lion Brand® Babysoft® - Microspun

15 sts = 4 in. [10 cm] in garter st (k every row) with 1 strand of A and 1 strand of B held tog. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Making a Gauge Swatch

Rows 1-6
Work in garter st with 1 strand each of A and B held tog.
Rows 7-10 Work in garter st with 1 strand each of A and C held tog.

Seven Seas Baby Set Reviewed by Catherine Drake on 2008-05-29 *****
This pattern was so much fun to knit! It went together perfectly. I used the colors the pattern called for and even though they looked awful together, they worked up beautifully. I did add a single crochet row around the end of each sleeve and on the front to help conceal where I carried the yarns up to change the colors. It came out great!! I also added a big tassel on top of the hat. Cute!!
