Lion Brand® Lamé
GAUGE: 12 chains = 2" in [5 cm]. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

NECKLACE
Apply nail polish to cut end of yarn. When polish is tacky,
roll yarn end between your fingertips to create a smooth, firm
end. Allow polish to dry. Slide beads onto yarn in the following
order: *A, B, A. Repeat from * until there are 19 sets of 3 beads
each. Leaving a long tail of yarn, make a slip knot.
Step 1 Chain 15, enlarge last loop on hook enough to pull
chain and strung beads through to create a knot.
Step 2 Slide next 3 beads down to knot.
Step 3 Make a slip knot on opposite side of beads as close
to the last bead as possible. Insert crochet hook into loop of
knot. Continue in this manner until all beads have been secured.
Cut yarn leaving a long tail. Tie ending tail and beginning tail
into a square knot. Trim ends and apply clear polish to cut ends. |
