Lion Brand® Moonlight Mohair

GAUGE:

12 sts + 18 rows = 4" [10cm] in St st (k on RS, p on WS). When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Making a Gauge Swatch

Shimmery Elegance Bolero Reviewed by Rebecca Miles on 2012-08-30 ****
I had problems with the cuffs also. I would highly recommend doing a rib to match. They looked pretty, but were almost too narrow to get a hand through. Also, I made this for a tall but thin woman, and it mostly covered her shoulders, it didn't cover as much of the front as it does on the model. Otherwise, it was very nice looking, and the pattern is understandable if you think it through.
