Lion Brand® TiffanyTM
GAUGE: 12 sts + 16 rows = 4" [10 cm] in St st (k on RS, p on WS) with 1 strand
each of A and B held tog. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

 BACK
With 1 strand each of A and B held tog, cast on 66 sts. Work in St st until
piece measures 3" [7.5 cm] from beg; end with a WS row.
Next Row K 4, (k2tog, k 9) 5 times, k2tog, k 5 – 60 sts. Work even in St
st until piece measures 6" [15 cm] from beg; end with a WS row.
Next Row K 4, (k2tog, k 8) 5 times, k2tog, k 4 – 54 sts. Work even in St
st until piece measures 8" [20.5 cm] from beg; end with a WS row.
Shape Armhole
Bind off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows – 48 sts. Bind off 2 sts at beg of
next 2 rows – 44 sts. Dec 1 st at each end of next RS row 2 times – 40 sts.
Work even until piece measures 15 1⁄2" [39.5 cm] from beg. Bind off.
LEFT FRONT
With 1 strand each of A and B held tog, cast on 33 sts. Work in St st until
piece measures 3" [7.5 cm] from beg; end with a WS row.
Next Row K 4, (k2tog, k 9) 2 times, k2tog, k 5 – 30 sts. Work even in St
st until piece measures 6" [15 cm] from beg; end with a WS row.
Next Row K 4, (k2tog, k 8) 2 times, k2tog, k 4 – 27 sts.
Shape Neck
Dec Row (WS) P 2, p2tog, purl to end – 26 sts. Repeat Dec Row every 3rd
row 9 more times, and AT SAME TIME, when piece measures 8" [20.5 cm] from
beg, shape armhole.
Shape Armhole
Bind off 3 sts at beg of next RS row. Bind off 2 sts at beg of next RS row.
Dec 1 st at beg next RS row 2 times – 10 sts. Work even until piece measures
15 1⁄2" [39.5 cm] from beg. Bind off.
RIGHT FRONT
Work as for Left Front, reversing shaping.
 SLEEVES
With 1 strand each of A and B held tog, cast on 34 sts. Work in St st until
piece measures 1" [2.5 cm]; end with a WS row.
Shape Cap
Bind off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows – 28 sts. Bind off 2 sts at beg of
next
2 rows – 24 sts. Dec 1 st at each end of next row, then every 6th row 3 times
– 16 sts. Bind off remaining sts.
FRONT TIES (optional; make two)
With 1 strand each of A and B held tog, cast on 3 sts. K each row until piece measures 16". Bind off and attach to front corner at neckline.
FINISHING
Sew shoulder seams. Sew in Sleeves. Sew side and Sleeve seams. Weave in
