Wee Poncho
Lion Brand® Color Waves - Lion® Suede
GAUGE: 11 sts + 24 rows = 4" [10 cm] in Garter st (knit every row) with A. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

PONCHO
PANEL – Make 2
With A, cast on 24 sts. Work in Garter st for 112 rows. Bind off.
FINISHING
With crochet hook and B, and following diagram, join Panels together
with sc. With B, work a row of sc along 24th Garter ridges to outline a
square on Front and Back. With B, work sc around neck and lower edges.
Weave in ends.
TASSELS
Cut 60 lengths each 6" [15 cm] of B. Using 10 strands for each
Tassel, fold in half to form a loop. Insert crochet hook at Front point of
Poncho and draw loop through. Draw ends of Tassel through loop and
tighten. Work a 2nd Tassel at Back point of Poncho. Following diagram,
work 4 additional Tassels.
Tie ribbon into a bow and sew to neckline at center front.
