5-Hour Raglan Sweater

Lion Brand® Moonlight Mohair - Incredible®

GAUGE:

4 sts + 4 rows = 4” [10 cm] in Stockinette st (k on RS, p on WS) with larger needles and holding 1 strand of A, B, and C together. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

5-Hour Raglan Sweater Reviewed by Cathy Rundquist on 2014-02-15 **
So I will start my comments off by stating this is the first sweater I have attempted. That said, I think the details in this pattern need to be updated. It takes much longer than 5 hours to complete, as others have commented. I followed the pattern exactly, and had 2 holes at the top front of the garment. When I attempted to try it on, the neck was way too small to go over my head, and I made the large size. I am ripping it out and attempting to alter the pattern to make it work. I had hoped to find a good easy sweatern pattern, instead I am having to rewrite the pattern to make it work. Epic fail.
