4-Hour Bias Baby Afghan
Lion Brand® Homespun®
GAUGE:
4 sts + 4 rows = 4 inches [10cm] in Stockinette st (k on RS, p on WS) using 4 strands of yarn held together. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION:
sk2p Slip 1 as if to knit, knit 2 together, pass slipped stitch over—2 sts decreased.
NOTES:
An easy afghan knit on the diagonal from corner to corner. Four strands of yarn are held together throughout. Due to the nature of the fabric, gauge may vary throughout the knitting
Editor’s Note: When creating fringe using Homespun please note that because of the texture of the yarn the fringe will fray when cut. If you prefer a non-frayed look you can knot the ends,
knit or
crochet a loop fringe, or use hairspray or fray check.

Cut an 8” [20.5 cm] length of yarn and wrap tightly around loops 1 1/2" [4 cm] below top knot to form Tassel neck. Knot securely; thread ends into needle and
