GAUGE: 20 sts + 30 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in St st worked in the round. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| Striped Self-Lined Bag Reviewed by jules hurry on 2010-04-27 |
    |
nice easy pattern - I used up two odd balls of cotton.
It was a bit shapeless, though, so I used a piece of plastic mesh (also a left-over!) which I cut to fit the base and sewed in place before finishing the lining in place. This gave the bag a bit more structure.
