Reversible Cable Scarf

Lion Brand® Lion® Cashmere Blend

GAUGE:

18 sts + 24 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in Stockinette Stitch (knit on RS, purl on WS).

BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

3/3 RC (3 over 3 right cable) Slip 3 sts to cable needle and hold in back, k3, then k3 from cable needle

Reversible Cable Scarf Reviewed by Andrea Peck on 2012-10-26 *****
I just finished this pattern. This was my second scarf made with cables, and it was a lot of fun. The pattern was easy to memorize, and I finished the scarf in just a few days. The seed stitch border really pulls it all together and makes the cables pop. The scarf is a tad narrower than I usually like, but this one is a present for my sister-in-law for Christmas. If I made this pattern again, I would add an extra cable repeat. I think it turned out beautifully and almost wish I could keep it!
