GAUGE:

16 sts + 24 rows = 4 in [10cm]. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

SEED STITCH (multiple of 2)
Row 1 *K1, p1; rep from *
Row 2 *P1, k1; rep from *

CASE
FRONT
With (A) cast on 10 sts. Work in Seed st until piece measures 3½" [9cm] from beg. Bind off.

BACK
Work as for Front to last (bind off) row. Bind off all but last 4 sts. Work these 4 sts in Seed st to make Strap 5½” [14cm] long. Bind off.

FINISHING
Sew side and bottom seams. Sew snap onto Case and onto end of Strap. With (B) and double pointed needles pick up 20 sts around top of Case. P 1 round. K 1 round. Bind off. Weave in ends.

(189 yd/170m) balls. Product is also available in some colors in a 1 pound (16oz/453g 755 yd/690m) money-saving size as Item #750.
	*Fun Fur (Article #320) is a novelty "eyelash" yarn. Solids: 1¾/50g; 60 yd/54m per ball Prints: 1½ oz/40g; 57 yd/52m per ball 100% polyester.
