Basketweave Baby Blanket
Lion Brand® Babysoft®
GAUGE: 13 1/2 sts + 18 1/2 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in Pattern, with 2 strands of yarn held together. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1. Circular needle is used to accommodate large number of sts. Work back and forth on circular needle as if working on straight needles.
2. Blanket is worked with 2 strands of yarn held together throughout.

| Basketweave Baby Blanket Reviewed by Amy Lochridge on 2013-02-25 |

| I made this blanket knitting for the very first time and it turned out beautiful. The pattern is very forgiving and hides mistakes that I made. I used 2 skeins of Pound of Love and held two strands together as per the pattern. I also made it 154 stitches wide and used size 13, 9 mm circular needles. The blanket is 55” x 36”.
