A WONDERFUL garment!! It is about four years since I made this straightforward kit, and even after much machine washing, my coat still looks exactly like the picture! That is so even though I have lost 30 lbs since making it to fit me. The coat gets compliments whenever I wear it, and my fussy daughter just awarded it the ultimate accolade -- "Mum, will you make me one of these in MY colours?" Well, yes, I will. Today she reviewed the homespun choices online and selected her favourites. The rest is up to me.
