Posh Poncho & Granny Square Bag

Lion Brand« Wool-Ease« Thick & Quick« - Chenille Thick & Quick®

GAUGE:

Rnds 1-2 = 4 1/2" (11.5 cm). Finished square = 11" (28 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Making a Gauge Swatch

Posh Poncho & Granny Square Bag Reviewed by Angelika Jansen on 2012-12-24 ****
The poncho turned out great, and I had used the Homespun yarn. Very soft. The only thing that I didn't like was that some of the fastened off parts were coming undone. Fixed it with the leftover yarn that I had. Otherwise, awesome project.
