With A, ch 76.
Row 1 With A, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across.
Row 2 Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across ñ 75 sts.
Rows 3 and 4 With B, rep Row 2.
Rows 5 and 6 With C, rep Row 2.
Row 7 With D, sc in each of first 3 sts, *Ssc2 in next st, sc in each of next 3 sts; rep from * across.
Row 8 With D, repeat Row 2.
Row 9 With C, sc in first sc, *Ssc2 in next sc, sc in each of next 3 sc; rep from *, end last repeat sc in last sc.
Row 10 With C, repeat Row 2. Rows 11 and 12, 15 and 16 With A, repeat Rows 7 and 8. Rows 13 and 14 With B, repeat Rows 9 and 10. Rows 17 and 18 With C, repeat Rows 9 and 10. Rows 19 and 20 With D, repeat Rows 7 and 8.
Rows 21- 38 Continue in sc only (Row 2) in the following color sequence: 2 rows C; 2 rows B; 2 rows A; 4 rows D; 4 rows C; 4 rows D. Repeat Rows 1-38 three times; then work Rows 1-26. Fasten off.
BORDER
Rnd 1 Join C in top right corner and *work 73 sc evenly spaced across short edge, work 3 sc in corner; work 106 sc evenly spaced along side edge work 3 sc in corner; rep from * once more, join with slip st to beg sc.
Rnd 2 Ch 1, work 1 rnd sc, working 3 sc in each corner. Fasten off C.
Rnd 3 Attach A in any corner, *(sc, ch 2, sc) in corner st, (ch 1, skip 1, sc in next st) to corner, ch 1; rep from * (adjusting stitches as needed), ch 1 and slip st to beg sc. Fasten off A.
Rnd 4 Attach D in first sc of any corner, ch 3 (counts as dc), dc, (ch 4, slip st in first ch from hook) ñ picot made, 2 dc in same space, (2 dc, picot, 2 dc) in next corner sc ñ group made; counting the ch1s in Rnd 3 as a stitch, work a group in every 3rd stitch and work corners with a group in each sc of corner as above, adjusting stitches as needed, end skip 2 sts, join with slip st to beg ch.
