GAUGE: Please see the gauge in the downloadable pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| This hat was an adventure for me, and a joy to make! This is the first season that I attempted to knit hats in the round, and I was VERY pleased with the results on the three hats that I completed from this pattern. I felt so brave after completing this hat, that I converted your Toboggan Hat, and made it in the round. I'd love to see more Celtic knotwork in your pattern section.
