This reverse stockinette, button-down V-neck knitted vest is figure-flattering. It is knit in one piece to the armholes. In a beautiful design detail, a decorative stitch travels up the sides to create the illusion of a seam.

Knitted Casual Vest Reviewed by Fiona Anderson on 2010-03-23
This vest has turned out more or less to my satisfaction. However the Skill Level for the instructions should not have been aimed at the Beginner, as the directions were basic and required a lot of 'tweaking' by myself, an experienced knitter. For instance, the model in the photo is sporting a vest containing FOUR buttons; follow the pattern instructions and you get THREE buttonholes. The directions called for THREE balls of yarn to be purchased; having knitted, block and sewn this garment together, I used exactly TWO balls. Hmmm. Never mind, my Mother will love this (the vest, not my critique) and that is all that matters!
