Knit Kit - Braided Poncho

If you’re like me, your office is freezing. It’s too cold for a sweater, but it’s too hot for a coat. So, I wanted to make something that I could stay warm in, but also allow air flow while still looking cute and chic. This design is half a nod to those cute fall fashion vibes with its doe brim collar, but it also subtly reminds me of a caroling jacket that I used to wear as a kid ublwhen I went door to door around Christmas time with the cables at the bottom. Note: This poncho is knit top down. After finishing the double brim collar, you will knit your way through the body in a top down raglan type style. Once the bodice is completed, you will work the braided cable like an applied border of a shawl.
