Introducing Chainette, a luxurious blend of 65% baby alpaca and 35% nylon. The chainette construction of this medium-weight yarn adds loft and softness while keeping both knit and crochet projects lightweight. Boasting 164 yards per skein, this yarn is ideal for warm sweaters, soft scarves, and textured accessories. Hand wash only and lay flat to dry to preserve its delicate fibers.

I love this yarn! It works up nicely, is lightweight, soft and it is easy to work with. I made a scarf using multiple colors and a Tunisian simple stitch. The drape and feel of this yarn is wonderful. Just wish there were more colors!
Just finishing a top with this yarn. The size 9 knitting needles are perfect for this yarn. Not a see through fabric but very light. The kit pattern was too difficult for me, a total beginner knitter, so I used the Classic Knit Top (also a Lion Brand kit) awith the Charente yarn from the Olari kit. Looking forward to wearing my top this spring and summer.
This yarn is soft and airy. It’s so easy to work with. Very luxurious. The colors are prettier in person. Trust me and just buy the yarn.
Very nice yarn . I knitted a pullover lions pattern. Number B70394 easy eyelet yolk sweater. I thought it was so pretty. I ordered the cardigan and I’m still working on that. I’m working on the sleeves. Should be finished soon. I went up two sizes on the sleeves. I felt the circumference was very small other than that it came out beautiful.
Bought a sweater kit then 2 more skeins to finish. As expensive as this yarn is-relative to others- it shouldn’t have feet long thread gauge and different weights throughout the skein. This has been a fight. By cutting out the trash pieces I’ve had to order two extra skeins. (The original order was one size up than I made) very disappointing

Ordered 2 extra skeins required to finish a sweater and did not realize (because it's not indicated anywhere by Lion Brand) that the composition of this yarn has completely changed :( to say I'm disappointed is an extreme understatement. I have always trusted Lion Brand for their consistency but now I have hours and money invested into a sweater I love but cannot finish. Totally bummed!! Buyer beware!
Hello Lisa - our apologies that the new yarn received won't work to finish your project! We don't keep old dye lots in our warehouse so we suggest looking on eBay, Etsy, or Ravelry for matching yarn to finish your sweater.
