Pumpkin Candy Bag
Lion Brand® Lion® Wool
GAUGE: 10 sc + 11 rnds = 4 in. (10 cm), before felting BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1. Bag is worked with 2 strands of yarn held together throughout.
2. To change color, work last stitch of old color to last yarn over; yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete stitch. For short distances, carry color not in use underneath stitches. For longer distances, fasten off old color.
3. Bag is worked in continuous rounds; do not join and do not turn at the end of rounds.
4. The chart design may pull to one side as rounds are worked. Shift chart design one stitch over, if desired, to compensate.

| Pumpkin Candy Bag Reviewed by Gunda Stember on 2008-10-27 |

I made this bag and also the Skull Candy Bag. I am just now picking up knitting/crocheting, and I would describe myself as a beginner. The Pumpkin bag was easy and quick to make. I have 2 small children, and still managed to finish it in 3 days! After felting, it looks like a perfect little bucket, and my son can't wait to use it for trick-or-treating!
I bought the amount of wool specified in the instructions, but I didn't have a lot left. If I were to make this again, I'd buy extra.
