I agree with other comments. This yarn is not a good choice. too bulky, doesn't show off the beautiful pattern. Makes a very heavy afghan. What really annoyed me was getting to the end, and realizing that panel two has a mistake in it. There is no row decreasing stitches before the edging rows, so it is way out of shape and ruins the rectangle. With panel three worked in, I don't see how I can remedy this. I hope people read the comments before making this. I may try it again with different yarn.

I began knitting this pattern and I agree. There are many mistakes in it. I had to undo several times, then I realized it isn't me, It is the pattern. You need someone who can read and correct the mistakes. Please. It is a beautiful Afghan. It won't be a headache if the instructions were correct.
Thank you

This pattern has a lot of errors in it. It really needs to be test knit by someone in lion brand.

DO NOT USE FISHERMEN'S WOOL YARN TOO THIN Reviewed by Alice Martin on 2014-06-28 *****
I am almost finished this afghan. It is fun to make. The dard yarns are not good for this project as they do not show the work. I used Lion brand Fishermen's wool for project was very disappointed it was so thin I had to double it and still did not get the guage length on size 15 needles. Did not wast to go larger. YARN IS MADE IN CHINA AND AS USUAL THEY SIZE TO A DIFFERENT DRUMMER. DARK YARNS DO NOT SHOW THE BEAUTY OF WORK. I USED BROWN AND TWEED ON FIRST PANNEL DOES NOT SHOW THE BEAUTY OF WORK. WILL SEND PIC. WHEN FINISHED SHOULD BE SHORTLY. LOVED PATTERN WILL MAKE IT AGAIN WITH DIFFERENT YARN.

This patter is really fun to work on however the hometown yarn is not a good choice. The work gets very fuzzy which makes it less attractive. I am going to try a different yarn. it may be better with Wool-ease or double strands of vanna's choice.
